I began my acupuncture journey working as a receptionist at a community acupuncture clinic in Brooklyn where I was amazed by the transformative power of acupuncture. This sparked a curiosity in me, that grew into a passion ultimately leading me to attend the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine. There I was exposed to a diverse range of approaches to acupuncture, bodywork and Chinese herbal medicine from some of the best and most knowledgeable practitioners in the country.

I now utilize a combination of these approaches, with an emphasis on the use of palpation. I believe in the ethos that the body knows what it needs to heal and that we just have to know how to listen. During sessions with patients, I utilize a combination of gentle palpatory methods in order to assess how and where that person’s system wants to be engaged with. This enables me to be a collaborator with my patients’ bodies, engaging in an ongoing call and response with their system in order to achieve the best and most precise treatment for that day. In addition to acupuncture, I offer gentle bodywork, Chinese herbal medicine, as well as diet and lifestyle guidance when appropriate.

Outside of providing acupuncture to the community, I am an active professional musician, drumming in several bands in the Seattle area. I also love being in nature and practicing Qigong and Taiji. I am honored to be able to serve this community and practice a medicine that continues to surprise and amaze me.
