As a naturopathic physician, my central therapeutic goal is for patients to increase awareness of how to listen to their own bodies and help find their own specialized path to health. I focus on optimizing health through detailed diagnostic analysis, individualized patient-centered care and health education. I work in primary care, however, I have special interest in mental health, cardiovascular disease, and gastrointestinal disorders. Additionally, I have advanced training in craniosacral therapy and integrated pelvic floor therapy.
My path to medicine has been winding. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and spent a few years in research before realizing a pull towards working more directly with patients. I then spent time working in mental health seeing the impact of mood and stress on physical health. My passion for integrating the mind and body led me to pursuing a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. I am currently completing my residency at Federal Way Naturopathy.
When I’m not at the clinic, you can usually find me exploring nature, spending time on the water, practicing yoga, or experimenting in the kitchen.
