We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Front Office Receptionist to join our team and contribute to our mission. In this role, you’ll provide crucial front office support to six Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) in a primary care environment, while also assisting with our services, including acupuncture, IV therapy, and breast thermography.

Job Overview:

As the first point of contact for patients, the Medical Receptionist plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service. You will manage all front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments, checking in patients, collecting billing information, assisting with patient accounts, and maintaining electronic medical records.

Our ideal candidate is also a licensed CNA or CMA, with the ability to support our back-office team when needed. A salary increase will be offered for those with relevant licensing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • Manage reception duties, including patient check-in, appointment scheduling, and billing
  • Assist patients with account inquiries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records
  • Assist back-office staff as required (if licensed)

Ideal Candidate:

  • Works well in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks Familiarity with office management systems and electronic health records (EHR).

  • Previous experience in a medical office or hospital environment is preferred.

We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and are closed on all major holidays.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience

Schedule & Pay:

  • This is a part-time position, approximately 24 hours per week, with the potential to transition to full-time. We value work/life balance and make every effort to meet the needs of our employees.
  • Monday to Friday, day shift (No weekends)
  • Salary based on experience, starting at $20.00 per hour
